Aren't the daily insurance and deductible rates high?

Aren't the nightly Protection Plan rates and Reimbursement Deposits high?

We've set up our program with the highest damage protection levels of any rental coverage program, and our Protection Plan rates are about the same or lower than other RV rental protection products with inferior coverage.

Our nightly Protection Plan rate ranges from $40 a day for trailers to $70 a day for a Class A RV (they typically sell new for more than $200,000). When you rent a car, you're probably used to paying $25-$35 a day for supplemental damage protection on a compact car, You also have to remember that when you rent a car, your regular car insurance covers you so when you're paying the $35 a day that is just for extra insurance. When you rent an RV, your car insurance does not apply and our Protection Plans provide all the coverage you need, from ground zero, so we hope you agree with us we negotiated some great rates for you.

Also keep in mind that with our Protection Plans, you as the driver get the industry's highest coverage rate, up to $1 million in coverage for any liability, as well a cap on your out-of-pocket expenses for up to $200,000 in damage to the rented RV. Check the fine print on other RV rental coverage packages, most are either limited to $500,000 or even worse, state minimums which is only $20,000 in most states.

In case the rented RV is damaged during your trip, our Damage Contracts cap your out-of-pocket expenses to cover such damage in the range of a $3,500 reimbursement deposit for a Class A RVs to a $1,000 reimbursement deposit for Travel Trailers, and is about the same rate as regular car coverage. However, unlike car coverage we are not locking you in for the next two to three years, the rental is just a one time transaction so while our reimbursement deposit may seem high, it's not being spread out over years of higher payments. Further, our Damage Contracts which cap your out-of-pocket expenses for damage to the rented RV are not insurance, so they won't affect your car insurance payments if you elect to take out a Protection Plan with one in it.
